OHHH Dad
My Dad has been known to have a funny saying or two . I was just sitting here in the kitchen at my parents house as my Dad looks out over his corn field. "Bonnie, how long has the water been on that corn?" Mom - " OHHH 4 hours". Me " Whoa, I ain't never watered my garden that long." Dad, " That garden was dryer than a popcorn toot" WHAAAAAT??? gotta love that Ray Anderson - Right!!!!

LOL until I've got tears! Dad's sayings are the funniest! I agree with Amy. Time for a quote book AND story book. Okay you girls, take charge. Here's one for the books...One day when Mom, Dad and I were at Tracy Aviary on a blistering hot day without anything to drink, Mom decided to buy a drink with the little change we had. She of course bought a diet soda, Coke I believe. After a few swigs she offers us a taste. Dad replies, "heck no! I'd rather drink warm water from a horse's hoof." I almost fell off the bench from laughter. Then I drank my tears.
Now that's a dry garden.
