100 Posts - OH WOW!!!

Guess what this is my 100th post. I'm excited about that! I started blogging over a year ago at the non-stop begging and pleading of my sister Amelia and have been blogging ever since. I have had my slow times (when I thought I was dead- due to pregnancy) and my months that I posted allllll the time. I decided also that this blog is for me and if no one comments - AWH well because it's like journaling (which I don't do) and so that is important and one day I will Slurp my blog and have it all in a hard copy. I encourage any to blog - It really doesn't take that much time - trust that because I don't have ANY time. Does anybody these days! ? Ok, so I decided a while back that on my 100th post I was going to do a giveaway! THATS RIGHT , A GIVEAWAY! I am going to make the winner something - to be decided soon - and after I find out if it is a gal or a guy. I will use the random number generator to pick the number and you can only enter once. So all you have to do to enter is leave a comment - I wanna know how YOU know ME and if you don't know me - I wanna know why you are reading my blog! Easy enough!!! GAME ON!!!! This should be fun to see if more than 6 people read my blog. Oh and you have until Monday night at midnight to comment. Remember only one entry per person. Love you all and thanks for reading my nonsense !

Smiles and Loves, JEN

OH and just a little pat on the back to myself. For those of you that don't know - about 3 months ago I decided I didn't ever want to see "THAT" pant size again. Good news is that I haven't had sugar for 3 months - yup NONE and it has paid off because I am now 32 pounds thinner. YAHOOOOOOOOO ! for me - Just 30 more to go - I know some of you only weigh 60 pounds but others of us are bigger - more curvy folks!

32 & Just Look At YOU!

Happy Birthday Amelia!
It's been a while since the last ODE to Aim so I thought today was the perfect day!

Miss Amy's my Sister
Scotty is her Mister

She has not one girl but two
and her boys are quite a few.

She lives in Saratoga Springs
And their neighbors treat them like Kings!

She has lots to DO
She's way busier than YOU!

She's a really good friend
A hand SHE WILL lend.

She listens intently
Then hugs you gently

Oh the pictures she takes
they're so good they look fake.

My sister, my friend
I will love you till the end

Happy Birthday Aim
Hope this poem doesn't bring you Shame!

I love you to death Aim - thanks for always being one of my closest friends. I admire you more than you know!
Kisses & Hugs
Jen
now go celebrate "YOU IDGIT!"

All This & The Gospel Too!

A few months ago I heard someone quote an apostle who looked at his family and as he sat down to dinner said: "All This & The Gospel Too." I just loved that quote and I know I've said this before but I'm gonna stich that on a pillow because it's the theme of MY LIFE! This really is how I feel.
Love you all,
Jen
p.s. Isn't it a wonder that babies can sleep in any position at all!
p.p.s. I can't wait for the Family Reunion - BOOYAHHHH!!!

INSPIRED

Way to go Molly! You have inspired me today! I cried for the better part of the morning thinking of my sister Molly. This morning she ran a marathon in the Ogden canyon. I still can't really imagine it but it's true - all 26 miles of it are real and true. I kept thinking of her out there and what might be going through her head. I wondered if she was thinking of things that have inspired her just to take that next step to make it to the finish line. Mol I wish I could have been there to see you coming across the finish line. I wish I could have been the one yelling louder than Mom "BRAVO, BRAVO"! My other sister Ging decided that she would join Molly in the run when there was 3 miles left to go. Again I cry thinking about that. This afternoon I talked to Molly and she said it was just a little bit after Ging joined her when she was pretty sure she couldn't run another step and that Ging was there just encouraging her for the rest of the run. Thanks for the inspiration girls! I bet you'll sleep good tonight. Love you!

Oh and yes I did put Chariots of Fire on the playlist just for you Molly! I told her that she should have it on her ipod for the run - she just laughed!

Newie Boo, I LOVE YOU!

Today is my little brown haired girls birthday. It's her 7th birthday to be exact! Tell me, does it get any easier when your children get older. Every time one of my children have a birthday I just get all emotional and misty eyed and beg them to stop growing!
I presented Miss Annie with a coupon this morning and the coupon read that she would be queen for the day and we would all wait on her hand and foot and we would only refer to her as "Your Majesty", or "Your Royal Highness"! She thought it was a wonderful thing and Paige even dressed as her maid and served her. She got to say all the prayers for the day and pick all the meals. We had pancakes for breakfast - a rarity at our house and we had cheese quesaidillas for dinner (Jared's favorite I'm sure) . She got a darling outfit from her grandma and grandpa Holyoak , A Didj from her Daddy and I , a Didj game from Zander man and a Webkinz Whale that she loving named Justin the moment she pulled him from the gift bag - he was from Paige.
I feel that I have captured the true spirit that is Anna in the above photo of her when she saw her Didj . Everything about this girl is HAPPY! Her beautiful attitude for life just ooozes out of every one of her pores. I may have mentioned this before about my Anna girl but I just love her brown hair. It is shiny and dark and just captivating to me.
Anna, I love you and I am sure that your beautiful outlook on life will change peoples lives, your smile will fill dark rooms and your desire to do what is right will bless your life! Happy Birthday Newie Boo!
Love Mommy

I KNOW ! RIGHT!

Ok, so I'm sure you've heard someone you know say those words Above - "I Know , Right" Well, I'm willing to bet the person you know is under 21 right. Well, I have this friend and at our house she is referred to as Mintzi. Well, her actual name is Mitzi and she is super fun and equally as crazy. Her vocabulary is half her personality. I'm sure you all have a friend that you would describe this way. Mitz says think such as, I Know -Right, That's the Situation, or sometimes Stitchuation (when she's talkin about sewing), she refers to her friends as her peeps. She has a ton more Mitzism but I can't remember them right now!

OK, so you get the point ! Mitzi has been my little apprentice for the past few months and man has she gotten gooooood at sewing! She is a natural at it! She might even just pass me up real soon ! I said MIGHT!!!! LOL!! A few things that I love about Misssss Mintzi : She has tons and tons of energy (she runs everywhere you go ) I'm serious about this folks -I've even seen her run with sewing machine in arms. Just look at that picture of her I took running as usual out to her car. I know it was raining, but even if it weren't she would have run. Mitzi is focused and a real get it done kinda girl ( I refer to her as an Ant) she knows what I mean by that and I appreciate her drive to press forward - it has helped me out tons. Mitzi is always willing to watch my boys for me on a moments notice (her hubby doesn't work so he's always home) that makes it easy for her to leave and come to my house. Mitzi is always willing to admit when she is wrong - I don't know many people like that - I find that amazing!! Mostly I like Mitzi because she LOVES and I mean adores my chubby baby. Who wouldn't!!!
Love ya Mitz, you are a great friend and I enjoy helping you out with all your stitching needs and all your stitchuations!

Your grasshopper friend JEN
p.s. Her hubby actually works from home but it's an inside joke!
p.p.s. Don't you love the celulite on my babies rump!!! LOL!!
