He Will Be Missed.

This is my all time favorite picture of President Hinckley. I have it on my computer desk and it has brightened many a day for me. I just feel like I have to blog about this. His death to me was expected but so unexpected. I suppose I thought he would just go on forever as the prophet of our church but heaven was waiting for him. I can only imagine how happy he was to see Sister Hinckley and those who have gone before him. I'm sure the reception area in Heaven was over flowing to greet him. I have never known my grandfathers and really didn't know my grandmothers but a few memories of when I was very little. I always felt like he was my very wise, humble, funny, loving charismatic Grandpa. One of the things that I truly loved about President Hinckley was has quick wit. He always had something funny to say that just put people at ease. In watching him over the past many years I have come to realize that our Heavenly Father truly must also have a very witty personality. I guess we are created in his image all the way down to a sense of humor. I have a testimony of this and I know that our Father will provide us with a new prophet and I am so grateful that we have living prophets on the earth in this day to guide us and lead us home to our Heavenly Father.

You will be missed President Gordon B. Hinckley!

AND i HAD THE TIME OF MY LIFE!

I got back late late late last night from my UTAH trip. I traveled across the wasatch front visiting with my lovley sisters who put up with my food whining! My snapping & my beautiful singing! We played our own version of American Idol, we sang , we danced, we laughed, we cried and we played Simon, Paula & Randy (YO DAWG) I prefered to play Randy myself. Anyhow, it was funny and I decided that it was even funnier that we were playing American Idol like we were 10 years old. We celebrated Em's b-day and that was a definate good time. Most of all we went to Brits mission farewell and heard her give a wonderful talk (no kidding) She's wise beyond her years and she is going to make the most wonderful missionary with a true love for the people of the Phillipines. Mike also gave a great talk that complimented his daughters so well. I swear he was looking at me for the whole talk and he said he was just looking for a friendly face. Of course I say he couldn't have found a friendlier one than mine thats for sure! YO!

Anyhow, Brit I love you your a wonderful example to your cousins and to your aunts and uncles. I have always known you would go far and that you had a great love for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I just can't believe your old enough to go on a mission. YIKES! That makes me just that much more ancient!

To my family who hosted my stay , thanks for all the fun times. I just love my family , no one not anyone has a family like this. We truly love each other and I would trade my family in for anything! Love you all and wish you would all move out to Boise!

I am an extremely fun individual,  I find life enjoyable, I like to stay in a watch the nightly business report.  I love eating out at all the favorite places like KFC!  I do a bit of crochet in the summer time - ok I'm real good at that actually.  I live in my sisters basement and spend alot of time organizing which I really enjoy.  I would love to find a great fella who enjoys some of the same things and he must love hairless cats because I won't give mine up for any reason.  Cute little varmit anyhow.  I'm just hoping to find Mr. Right On!  Love Freckles

LOOK oUT UTAH here I COME! BOMBDIGITY!!

Ok, I have had a bit of flack lately from some of my siblings Aim and John (Amy told on him) that I haven't been blogging. First of all JOhn and who ever else is lurking out there , maybe if you would comment and show some interest in my blog then I would blog a bit more. Actually, the reason for my blogless nights is my sweet Anna girl! She had a tonsilectomy and adnoidectomy last Friday and I have been waiting on my girl since then. She is doing well but a bit sad at times and of course she is missing school! I am trying to keep her drugged, entertained, happy, healthy and whatnot!

Now for the Utah here i come part! I will be arriving precisely at 5:10p.m this evening . Aim is graciously picking me up. We will then began the laying around and other such lazy things as eating Ben & Jerry's , tradsides, dance offs, Wii! In my defense for the laying around comment on Amy's blog , I HAVE PLANTAR FACITIS - probably didn't spell that right Tristan if your reading this you can correct me now! Anyhow is is painful to even walk most of the time and i look like a grandma ( no offense MOM) Cold weather makes it even more painful and right now I really just need a cortisone shot in my heel! OUCH!! NO THANKS!

Anyhow, I'm looking forward to coming down to the land of my sisters and brother and MA &PA! Looking forward to the NOT farewell of Bird Dog JOe! Birthday lunch with Em and just laughing and whooping it up a bit!

My Dearest Sister Aim
this poem might be a shame
but I shall go on just the same
because you first spoke my name!

My red-headed sister
She isn't no Mister!
She's pretty & smart,
and hates a loud fart - (gives her the dry heaves )

I've carried her on my back
she wasn't much to pack!
Her coat was made a wreck
by the Jacob from HEck!

In highschool she was the Valadic
She was funny in plays it gave us quite a kick.
She had lots of friends
some who spit on her lens.

Now that we're grown
lots of love she has shown
to her hubby & kids
she even cleans toilet lids.

Aim is stronger than any
she's prettier than Jenny.

When others might want to shove!

What a lovely weekend we had ! I just want to say thank-you to my lovely family and friends for attending Miss Paigey's baptism. It was so wonderful and the program was very special with both Grandpas giving the best of talks and Brit on the piano. Here is a picture of Miss Paige fresh out of the water . I love this picture!
