Stay-Cation ????

Ok so some of you are saying what the heck is a Stay-Cation. Well, let me tell you exactly what a staycation is and why you should all go on one. This past weekend we went on a Stay-Cation. You do all the fun things you might do on a Vacation but you stay in your hometown and thus NO GAS MONEY! YAHOOO! Anyhow, some people stay in a hotel but we decided to stay in our backyard in the tent for two nights and when I say WE I mean them and not me because pregnant ladies don't sleep well in pillow topped beds. So on Friday we went shopping and then we went to Barnes and Noble and looked and read books and played with the train sets. Then we went out to dinner. WE then went home and watched Kim Possible movies till almost midnight and then out to the tent to sleep. The next morning we got up and got ready . Mind you we do not make our beds when we are on staycation and we don't do any chores for that matter. So then went out to breakfast at IHOP. The kids of course had choco chip pancakes and we had yummy omletes. We then made our way to downtown Boise where we rode the paddle boats on the Lake. It was tons of fun and alot of work for this ole pregnant gal. Then we made our way over to the MK Nature Center where we saw lots of lovely birds and tons of big ole fish and alot of beautiful gardens. We then went to Winco and bought tons and tons of candy that we would later smuggle into the movies in my very big purse. We went home and rested for about an hour and then off to the movies to see Kung Fu Panda. THat movie gets two big thumbs up from me and the kids and the Big Jared Kid all loved it as well. We came home and had a picnic and then more Kim Possible Movies and back to bed in the tent . Wow , we put alot of fun into two days and the kids just thought it was the best thing in the whole world. SO EASY TO PLEASE! OH OH OH and one more thing. My very lets make it fun sister Terri helped us out with the whole feeling of Vacationing by leaving us a very funny message on our answering machine on Friday night. "Hello, this Room Service and we understand that you are having a lovely StayCation and enjoying all that there is to do. We just wanted to let you know that we well be providing you with a wakeup call in the morning at approximately 9 am , it will be a little jingle. WE hope you continue to enjoy your time on StayCation." Mind you it was all done with this very funny accent and just add that extra fun touch to our Fun Time! Thanks Ter! Anyhow, I don't have a whole lot more to say except that I am tired , tired, tired!

I finally caved into my sisters peer pressure and picked up the first book in the crazy vampire love stories and I will attempt to finish it before next year. HEE HEE! I'm not a reader but they swear that I will not be able to put it down so here goes!

Love you all.
JEN

You have the best ideas, Jen. I want to do that, too. My kids would just eat that up! I'm especially proud that you went out on the water being pregnant and all. You are amazing!

Jen, I have to admit that I am also addicted to the Twilight series. You'll love it. I started them in July and am on Book 3 for the second time! Does that mean my husband is right when he calls me a freak!?! Anyway I'm glad you are doing good. When is that little one due, I am so excited for you! Send me a note when you can. Love you!!!!

So glad you all had a great Staycation! Sounds like fun, I think it's a good idea to take advantage of little children not needing bells and whistles to be pleased.

Staycation?! I think I'll take a staycation. Maybe a workation. We do plan on going down to Amy's next week to do some work and yet we will be off work. Amy can wait on us and we'll take a break from work while we work! A workation! Leave your trouble at home and work elswhere.
