I know, I know I haven't been bloggin as often as usual but I have had a great excuse. Mr. Googer has had an ear infection every month and sometimes twice a month for the last 8 months and this last one well he's had for over 3 weeks and it won't go away - thus he will be getting tubes put in his wee little ears on Feburary 8th. Anyhow, here's some thoughts that I have been having run through my mind lately.
*Sisters were assigned to each other with great thought. What I mean is we each have areas of greater strength than our fellow sisters have and we can help each other out in their areas of need. I have had my cupboards organized and OH they are lovely, I've had wonderful food cooked for me and I've had tradsies and a listening ear - those are the most recent. I have loved every minute of it and appreciated it sooo much.
*I am raising God's Army - that is what you are doing when you have children. That's the way I like to look at it. It helps me be a better Mom.
*Prayer is a powerful source for good. It heals babies bottoms, ceases the pain of infected ears, & would you believe that it even curbs sugar cravings. Well , it does!
*Give A Day - Get A Day - I'm totally doing it. In fact I already signed up and I will be done with my blanket making service project by the end of this month and then Disney will award me with free tickets to Disneyland. I know , I know, I just went but that is how it goes. You don't go for 16 years and you somewhat forget and then you go and you just get the itch. I wanna go with all of you - so Give A Day already.
*My house is never real clean - Never!
*My Father-in-Law is cute & kind- even in a sombrero!
* Managed to make Paige a new dress.
* I miss my Christmas decorations!
* I read Nie and if you don't you are missing out.
*I bet it's overwhelming to have 6 kids & two of them being baby twins. Molly you are awesome - I think about that alot!
* I love American Idol - I don't watch any other shows - none but I love the Idol American.
* I can never produce enough scrub caps they always want More MORE MORE!
*I need some ideas for the Relief Society Birthday Dinner - Anyone ANyone
*I need some ideas for the Relief Society Birthday Dinner - Anyone ANyone
*Diets are hard but not unbareable. Man I could go for a Cold STone or a Cobb Salad.
*My husband is sooo skinny! He looks so young and so handsome and I think he is amazing and strong. Love you babe!
*I love to double coupon & I really love to double coupon with the other Jen Holyoak. She is organized and helpful and I love her. Thanks for all your help Jen - you're good to me
*I'm busy and unorganized - not a good combination.
*I'm giving myself till Feb 15th - Jared's birthday to stock my etsy shop with my own creations. STay tuned for my latest in headwear for girls - young and old.
*My kids know more about the scriptures then I do - they understand them better.
*I give the Spelling test to the Fourth graders on Thursdays and I love to volunteer.
*I need a new bra- this ones challenged.
*I could quite possibly have more fruit snacks and toothpaste than my local Albertsons.
*I loved seeing my brother-in-law sealed to his parents - that was a great moment.
Alright , I'm done but there's more - so much more. Another time
Love you!
Jenner

I loved reading all your "unconnected" thoughts. You are an inspiring person, and I've always felt that way. Loved your Christmas card. The colors and patterns and smiles made me happy. It is still on my cupboard! I can tell you what we're doing for our R.S. birthday celebration (not dinner) but it's too much to type, so if you're interested, give me a call. And if you call, remember to tell me about the Disneyland give a day thing - I haven't heard. Also, I love Shelley Bates. And I love that she calls you Jenny!
What is your etsy shop?
I was just at your house and your kitchen was the cleanest I have seen in some time so good job there. Thanks for fixing all 3 pairs of pants for me and thanks so much for watching my kids so I could get out for awhile stroller, crying, pouting, treat begging free. And I can't wait to get some cute hair things, with 4 girls it will be a good thing to have. love ya
I love a glimpse into your unconnected thoughts. For a woman with a baby whose been sick for some time you sure have a good attitude. I have to agree on the sister statement. I've learned so much about how to be a better person from my sisters and mother. I'm so grateful for the power of prayer and for all those who offer them up for my families well being.
p.s. Lyric,
I love Shelley Bates too! She's an amazing woman.
Okay, wait. I didn't know you had an etsy shop. You'd better fill me in so I can check it out. And I love Paigey's dress!! Did you make it up or use a pattern? Share! I have been sewing lately and will post my girls X-mas skirts soon. Sew much fun! I loved this post. I will be in Boise tomorrow thru Saturday. I will see if I can get away from our obligations, I want to come and see you. Love ya!
That was really fun to read, Jen! I love those random thoughts that we have sometimes and it helps just to list them and get 'em all out in the open. Prayer definitely does help with dieting and everything else! P.S. I love the whole bra comment. Bahaha!
Jen you are a very strong and inspiring sister. You are always a happy voice to talk to, even when your little Goo has been/is so sick. And you continue to sew like crazy! Which I can't keep up with even with one dog and a job. :( I just got a new bra, its such a great secret treat for yourself. Go get one! and yes, Molly is amazing. I'm not surprised she only has time enough to blog a response to you. Although I'd love to see at least TWO picture of my newest nieces. yup.
thanks jen.
Wendy-
I love you jen, it's too easy not to. you inspire me in all things. I just want to light a firecracker under myself when I think of all you do. If i could say one thing about you is that you really do LIVE!
Great post Jen. I haven't surfaced for a couple of weeks either. It's good to be busy, it gives you something to Blog about. :-)
